The contract was awarded to us after the completion of another project for the same client at a very similar school in the area.
The Teaching block, constructed as a modular timber frame, was craned into position in pre-assembled modules ready for us to dryline.
Drylining of the SFS frame enabled us to achieve solutions both in terms of improved acoustics and fire protection.
Acoustic ceilings were installed in the classroom areas (below) to create a comfortable teaching environment from which both pupils and staff will benefit.
The Dining Hall building (top and below), which features high performance suspended ceilings to the kitchen and acoustic baffles to the dining area, has created a new kitchen, servery and seating areas for both staff and pupils to enjoy.
Both our client and the school are delighted with these two buildings, which will greatly enhance and add to the facilities the school are able to offer.
